Thanks to the Willow Waterhole Greenspace Conservancy, Houston Parks
and Recreation Department, and Harris County Flood Control District,
we have a new park with lakes and ponds.
The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for this delightful new park was Saturday,
May 7th, celebrating the culmination of 20 years of community effort.
Almost 300 acres with a group of detention ponds to alleviate flooding
from Brays Bayou and nice wide walking paths comprise the park, adding
much-needed green space to Houston.
Go take a look. The park is south of Westbury High School on
S. Dryad@Chimney Rock.
