Les Bechdel of Canyons Inc. (www.canyonsinc.com) based out of McCall, Idaho has been providing guided raft-supported trips down the Middle Fork and Main Salmon rivers in Idaho for 18 years and many folks from the Houston area have been on these trips. Les will present an informal slide show of their trips and discuss some of the human and natural history of the area.
As some of you know, Les co-authored RIVER RESCUE, the first definitive book on the subject. The book has sold over 90,000 copies.
Following the slide show, Les will be available for an informal discussion of river safety topics.
