Two of our paddlers - Ron Nunnelly and Paul Woodcock won 2nd place
in the Neches River Race August 2nd. They paddled 22 miles of moving
water with lots of log jams. They bettered their time from last year from 5
hours 23 minutes 12 seconds to 5 hours 7 minutes 37 seconds.
Congrats to both of
these " SENIORS" for doing a good job with the others who competed from
around the State.
