Fall Flotilla: Canoe Trail Goliad
How do I sign up for the Flotilla?
To register for the flotilla fill out the registration form.http://www.canoetrailgoliad.com/registration.html This year you need to complete a registration form for each family in your party. Also, please print a copy of the waiver for each person in your party. Bring the signed waiver with you to the float.
What do we do when we get there?
Between 9am and 11am, bring your canoes, kayaks, jon boats, paddles and safety gear to the staging area on the north side of the US 59/San Antonio River bridge, 2 miles west of Goliad. Volunteers will help you unload your gear. Then drive to Goliad State Park where the great staff of the Goliad State Park will shuttle you back to your boat and gear. Once on the water enjoy a 6.5 mile paddle down the scenic San Antonio River back to the State Park. The free lunch is no more! (Sorry...) But we want to encourage you to head into downtown Goliad for lunch. Then plan to explore the beautiful City of Goliad and its historic courthouse square, wonderful variety of antique and gift shops, fabulous restaurants, and old-growth oak trees. And don’t forget the Presidio and mission!
Where do we learn about Paddling Safety?

Where the heck is Goliad?
Located on US Highway 59, just 29 miles southwest of Victoria! Only 90 miles southeast of San Antonio! A mere 68 miles northeast of Corpus Christi! A short 180 miles southwest of Houston! A scenic 186 miles south of Austin! Google us!
What else is there to do in Goliad?
Take a look at the Visit Goliad Facebook page to see what's happening in Goliad! Shopping, entertainment and history abound in Goliad.
What else is important to know?
