This is a scouting trip - never been on this segment of the drainage and don't know what it will be like, therefore I cannot post a meaningful description of expectations beyond "it will be an out-and-back (no shuttles) and will probably be hot".

Recommendations:
1. Bring more water than you think you'll need.
2. Wear sunglasses and sun protection
3. Bring a snack or lunch

My wife is limiting my exposure to maximum of 2 other people, hence the very limited trip capacity. She is immuno-compromised and has bought into the COVID scare, so I have to respect her wishes on this.
