Sorry to get hopes up! Howell's is closed, the 71 bridge in La Grange is closed. Beason's park is closed. The 71 Bridge in Columbus is closed. I-10 is closed at Brookshire. The Stars are stacked against it. It is going to be a beautiful day. Find somewhere else to paddle.

One very long day on the Colorado river, from La Grange to Columbus. Meet at Howell Canoe Livery in Columbus on Sunday morning at 7:30 AM to shuttle to the launch site on Highway 71 Bridge over the Colorado, west of La Grange.
Howell's has secure parking, and outdoor showers for afterwards.
We will plan on lunch somewhere around the 20 mile mark, with breaks at around the 10 mile mark, and at around 30 miles.
You can get 1/3 of your Hundred Miles for the year in, in one day.
