In lieu of a guest speaker, Vice Commodore Joe Coker will host a
"Movie Night"! Joe will show an award-winning DVD titled "Practical Kayaking"
which covers a range of important topics including Self-rescue,
Hypothermia, Entries and exits, Paddling tips, Boat and equipment selection,
Weather, Trip planning, and more. Everyone from newbie to advanced
will find it interesting and informative. Hopefully too, it will impress upon
folks the importance of learning and practicing good paddling skills. This
will be the first of likely several other Movie Nights in the months to
come.
