On Christmas day, the new movie “The Boys in the Boat”, directed by George Clooney, opened in American theaters. It is based on the New York Times bestselling book The Boys in the Boat: Nine Americans and Their Epic Quest for Gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics by Daniel James Brown. This is the Cinderella story of a group of young men who overcame harsh adversity during the Great Depression to bond as a team and achieve a seemingly impossible dream.
