As Texas starts to open up the club is monitoring and planning how soon and how we can start having official trips again. In the meantime many of our usual trip leaders and other members are planning and conducting private trips to keep us on the water and in touch. These trips are unofficial but we are going to start tracking mileage on them again.
If you would like to be included on the various planners invitation lists and to paddle, using all appropriate social distancing guidelines, please respond to me directly by e-mail so I can compile a list to circulate to trip planners. When you respond, let me know if you are interested in paddling weekends only or weekdays as well. Also let me know what sort of distance you are interested in doing.
We hope to get our regular trips up and running soon, but in the interim, we hope those who are interested will participate in these alternative adventures.
